Yes. I'll have you know that I spent a good 15 minutes of googling to find those pics. "CLANKY" was a popular robotic-type syrup back in the early sixties. They stopped making him in '63 I think. The car is the classic "Edsel".

ever see the movie 'heavy metal' ..(the original) there's a scene in it where the robot guy comes home to find his girlfriend, wife, whatever naked and spent on the bed....and they start having a discussion about their love life, and he says to her....'i don't want to come home and find you f%cking the toaster'
