The Carpet Serpent's food of choice is the "cheese doodle", from which it derives its alluring coloration and skin texture. Still, you do want one, don't you?

I almost forgot to mention that the C.S. also collects all loose change and uses it for ballast. You could empty its bladders and buy yourself a new CD or something.
