Did you ever hear about the woman in the 1800's who kept "giving birth" to baby rabbits? And everyone was like wow thats amazing, pity the babies are always dead. Turns out she kept shoving the dead baby rabbits up there.
This picture reminds of that story, and as that story is disturbing, so is this picture.
I forgot to mention that Blarg's chest-mouth emits carrot-scented pheromones to bait those unfortunate bunnies . It's "adaptation at work", but it still gives me the heebiejeebies. Thanks, Pricklypear.

NOUGIE! *pounces on the unsuspecting whatever-he-is* Oh yeah, there's nothin' like the aroma of hot tuna...I did successfully melt down a "Patty" one time, though.

i wondered where all the rabbits went to ( i know horses go to the glue factory and cows to the moon to keep making cheese , and chickens really only give up their fingers ) ....the ones that make it crossing the highway and escape untimely lawnmower deaths ..........now i know , and don't you think it's better to melt than to be all bitten into and chewed on like a piece of taffie ?????

ROMANTIC LOVE is a drive , probably stronger than the sex drive . It's harder to control .
I dunno why, but the Misfits' "Last Caress" plays through my mind when viewing this wonderful/disturbing piece of art confectionary.
I feel the sorrow for the bunnies, but maybe! MAYBE! They're just going to another dimension where they can frolic and eat carrots and copulate like there's no tomorrow! C'mon.... cut me some slack. Watership Down just absolutely killed me.
I'm totally loving the richness of the colors in this one, man. And the Deep, Dark, Blackness of the background is so velvety and fabulous. The negative space is *especially* nice. It creates such an engaging shape. Lastly, Blarg's glowing orbs o' doom are awesome (hey, potty-mind, I'm talking about his eyeballs! :eyeroll.
Thanks, Mossman. In the animated film version of "Watership Down" I'd always break down like an old apple cart whenever that song "Bright Eyes" by Art Garfunkel played. Too bad they're only pulling an "E.T.-Death" on us-and you end up feeling emotionally jerked around...still, the ol' tear ducts need a good flushing now and again.
I've been meaning to ask how the cowboy comic is coming along, was hoping that you'd mention it in passing. I recently tried drawing a Hoss just so's I could empathize...(trust me, this horse would've been shot on sight.)
